Experimental pop duo YOVA have dropped a live version of their fantastic single, ‘An Innocent Man’. The track first appeared on their debut album, Nine Lives, but has taken on a new lease of life here, with layers of eerie piano being supported by subtle, atmospheric guitar. Jova Radevska’s voice is melodic and ethereal, delivering stripped-back melodies and vocalisations throughout. They describe the track as being “about the human’s fallible nature to form addictions in order to alleviate pain. We can do this with a person too: we can believe that their company will save us from the challenges we are facing and we cling to that, when in fact we haven’t addressed the real cause of those feelings.” Their new Feel Your Fear bundle features the title track as well as its instrumental version, on top of this haunting live session. -Dan Peeke
